Bingo

Bingo as a game has a simple game play where a player buys a ticket or card with numbers on it. He then waits for casino to display random numbers, so that he can match and mark these numbers with the numbers on his ticket, with an aim of completing a pattern.


Although Bingo has a simple game play, Rules for both 75 and 90 ball Bingo are different, along with a separate number card pattern.

American Bingo

American Bingo or 75-Ball Bingo has the following game rules to it:  

  • The 75-Ball Bingo card consists of 5x5 grid section.
  • Card format for 75-Ball Bingo consists of total 25 squares, with 24 being numbered and one being empty.
  • The numbers given on 75-Ball Bingo card corresponds to letters in word B.I.N.GO.
  • B column of B.I.N.GO has numbers from 1 to 15, I column of B.I.N.G.O has numbers from 16 to 30, N column of B.I.N.G.O has numbers from 31 to 45, G column of B.I.N.G.O has numbers from 46 to 60 and O column has numbers from 61 to 75.
  • 75-Ball Bingo or American Bingo has three main winning patterns along with many other interesting patterns added by casinos to make the game more enticing.

United Kingdom and Australian Kingdom

United Kingdom and Australian Kingdom or 90-Ball Bingo is also widely popular as ‘Tambola’ in some parts of world. Rules of 90-Ball Bingo are quite easy but different from 75-Ball Bingo.

  • The number card for 90-Ball Bingo consists of a format of 3 rows and 9 columns in total.
  • The card or strip for 90-Ball Bingo consists of 15 squares in total, with each row having 5 numbers. The strip also has 4 empty boxes.
  • The most common winning pattern in 90-Ball variant of Bingo is top line, middle and last line as well as house.
  • Top line means player has to tick on all the numbers on top line, middle line requires all numbers in middle line to be ticked, similarly in order to win bottom line pattern player has to tick on all the numbers in the row.  
  • House is a pattern where player has to mark or tick on all the numbers in a ticket or card before any other player does it, in order to win.
  • 90-Ball Bingo can also be played with more than one card at a time.
